The USS Scorpius is both an IRC simulation and a PBEM (Play By E-Mail) simulation. The primary sim is the chat sim, which takes place on Friday evenings from 9 PM to 10 PM Eastern time on  irc.rpgworlds.com in the channel #USS_Scorpius.

The second type we do is through E-mail. They are mostly used as run overs for the hourly SIM's. We post them through a mailing list (which everyone is signed up to automatically when they join the ship) so that all the crew members can read it. 

Crew members are also encouraged to complete their "logs" after each sim. A forum is provided for members to post their duty and personal logs.
